Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injectable and Microneedling - JUNE 2025
Course Date & Timings: June 22nd 2025. 12 PM - 2:30 PM
Location:30 Quebec St, Guelph, ON N1H 2T5. Inside Acqua Salon.
Gain hands-on skill of venipuncture, injecting PRP into the hair, under-eye as well as using PRP to the face with or without microneedling. Students will receive online training modules to review before the training.
Models will be provided with a 1:2 student to instructor ratios. If you’d like to bring your own model, please let us know through email at theinjectorsacademy@gmail.com.
You will have an opportunity to inject 2 - 3 clients to ensure you are comfortable and confident in providing the treatment.
Pre-requisite: Must be a Nurse/Nurse Practitioner in good-standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO. Must be a physician in good standing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
Learning Objectives:
Learn principals of venipuncture in appropriately drawing into the PRP vials
Inject PRP to the tear trough, hair and the full face in combination with microneedling
Learn the benefits/differences of PRP (theory and hands-on practice)
Learn the benefits of microneedling with or without PRP (theory and hands-on practice)
Learn about the different Health Canada approved centrifuges and microneedling pens
Gain knowledge on the contraindications to treatment, complication management
Learn the appropriate patient selection and when to offer this treatment
Online modules on PRP and microneedling will be provided and must be completed prior to attending the session
Providers will receive a certification for PRP at the end!
This is a great addition to other injectable services!
